In RACHP-Lab, parallel processing is used in parametric, optimization and calibration features.
To accelerate the speed of calculation used in parametric, optimization and calibration studies, parallel processing is used. Usually, you should use a number of parallel computations equal to the number of logical cores available in your CPU. By default, RACHP-Lab will set this value to the number of available logical cores in the CPU. However, you might want to decrease this number to a lower number, as using all the logical cores will cause the throttling of the CPU, and multitasking with other processes along with RACHP-Lab would not be possible. To do so, you should follow the below instructions:
- Click on Options from the RACHP-Lab toolbar
- Click on Parallel Processing from the dropdown menu
- A window will open in which, you will be able to set the number of parallel processing jobs that will be evaluated simultaneously.
